Just got one of the Renix Engine Monitors. Plugs into the archaic diagnostic port under the hood. 10 feet of ethernet cable puts the monitor anywhere on the dash. Super fun to use. I multitask now: run errands and monitor my sensors. Gives me confidence to use the multimeter as needed...

Re: Disc Brake Converson I just did the G2 disc brake kit from 4wd.com for under $500. Every thing was labeled L or R & had SS hoses. Went really smooth.

I'm doing this same axle swap (D35 for 8.25) but I only have 3" lift. Will I also find the D35 drive shaft is too long for the 8.25? Or will my shorter lift have my rear axle farther away from my 242 transfer case than his 6" lift?

if this is such a great site, why did i have to go to a different cherokee site and vendor site to piece together information that is now forever coagulated here in this post? when $ is tight and you want to do upgrades, aerostar axles might look like a good deal.

This guy at ok 4wd said it would be a little bit wider than an xj, not narrower. But he said people buy his aerostar axles for xj's. His website says the aerostar 8.8 is 62.5” flange to flange. This other xj website has a 8.8 vs dana axle specs. not sure if an aerostar is always an 8.8 but...
