you can order a black mountain 4.5" kit with springs for $495. They actually use rough country parts. solid stuff. the springs have a shim with them; no vibes for me at all. ill give you more info. if you want

I used a come-along too. if you can get to one it sure helps alot

my rough country springs had shims built in already. the sharp edge faces front. it rotates the axle, facing your pinion angle up towards the transfer.

mine pops too. I just put on a 4.5" lift. regular non-quick disconnect sway bar links. I tightened the trackbar like hell.

maybe the gas gets sloshed away from the spicket

when Im down to a little less than 1/4 tank, the engine stalls if I use heavy throttle on take off. Does anyone else have this problem?

is it lifted? how many inches. I just put 4.5" on mine and have the same noise. I was thinking tie rods.

Great news. took pretty much alll day to install a 4.5" lift and 32" bfg AT's; and get this.............hardly any vibes at all, and I have a 99' model (no slip yoke, T-case drop, or cv's) Ill post pictures sometime this next week. Learned alot from the questions here on the forums...
