I get around 8. :) that is with 36"TSLs 5.13 gears and never getting out of low range. Don't see the highway so who knows what it'll get on the highway.

I have been running a lock right with the same axles and 36"TSLs with 5.13 gears no problem. Had this for almost a year now.

yup that would be the snap ring. when if jump off my Jeep you never know it is gone till you crawl under there. But if it is there it must be there for a reason. Like I posted on another board, I do thread lock the flange and the bolt, and never had a problem with it comeing off or anything...

Yup that is basicly it. there is a snap ring that holds the big washer to the "flange" itself. the pics in that article really don't show it as the SYE "flange" is up side down.

I have had the RE HnP SYE now for years and have been having trouble with the snap ring disapearing. My questions are: Any one else have this problem? How did you fix it? What size is the snap ring? Last time I nopticed this I called RE and they said they have never heard of this...

I contacted tera and they are replacing it. I was just curious if this was a common problem that I will regret that I bought or If it was totaly a freak one time occurance. Only thing is it happened at the worst time. I need my jeep together for a Christmas parade next week :rattle:

Installed my 2 Low kit last week and in the first outing it broke! The nipple that is welded on the range selector fork welds broke. Has anyone else had this problem or was this just a freak occurance? I was lucky that it didn't lodge in the chain or anything. What is bad I never shifted...
