look for any signs of additional wiring near the electric fan. If so follow them and determine if OE or if added later.

I'm pretty good with electrical stuff... This has me stumped, slightly. The light for the rear plate/tag stopped working, bulb is good. I tested the socket- no power. I tested the wiring to the socket- no power. I checked each fuse 3 times- no bad ones. I did a continuity test on the wiring...

How about an Aluminum "XJ" emblem for the rear hatch, something to replace the current stock.

there's a fuse in the kick panel for the OE fog lamps. Bust out the test light and test them all, I don't recall which location.

Why would anyone in an XJ need those?

anything can be done = $ Start with the basics... what year is your XJ? what motor is in your XJ? what transmission in your XJ? what aftermarket parts are on your XJ? From my understanding, (non-renix) 4.0L blocks are all the same, it's the stuff bolted to them. If you're willing to swap parts...

I love the roar... and mine never goes above 206deg, usually 195 to 198 even on a Hot South Carolina Summer day with or without the A/C on. Rock solid.

fixed... with ease! I found the plug had worked it's way off the back of the power outlet... loose connection= poor power.

The question that should be answered before you ask that is... How many times do you want to do or pay for ball joints to be replaced? If you say least as possible then use the best parts available.
