This damn thing loves to torment me. Got rid of my trans CEL codes but now I am pulling code p0118 on oriellys code puller and autozones is p0118 and p1898. I know the p0118 code is for the temp sensor. Unsure if it is for the one for the gauge or the one for the ecm. Do these jeeps...
m6x1.0x12. Slightly longer bolts worked well enough without needing to tap and helicoil it. Luckily those threads go further into the holes. Problem is after cleaning the pan up real good I realized that even with the borked bolts fixed it was still leaking. Turns out I'm leaking from the...
That was my first thought but one of the 3 bolts is on the front (other 2 on rear) and I am not sure how well I can get in there with a drill and tap with the exhaust in the way. That and I need to know the bolt size for the appropriate kit.
looks like someone cross threaded 3 bolts for my trans pan. Anyone know what size bolt is used in the pan? Was thinking maybe try a slightly longer bolt or if I am lucky use a long bolt and a nut on the other side but I can't remember now if that is possible on the aw4. It is in a 97 xj.
My little red Duralast battery is crapping out on me and I'm wondering what the biggest battery (CCA wise) I can cram into my battery tray fairly easily is. It is a 97 XJ sport.
Yeah those are what I was talking adjusting. Doesn't look like either sides has any shims but one is definitely set back farather then the other whenight looking at slot in the bracket where the control arm passes through
I nave new re3.5" coil springs, longer fixed rough country lower control arms, and a re adjustable track bar (it is centered) all newly installed. My passenger side coil is rubbing pretty bad on the bumpstop mount. I have noticed the slots for adjustment in the frame side lower control arm...
On the aw4 does anyone know how to actually disconnect the harness from transmission. The trans speed sensor was easy enough but there are other plugs that don't look like there is a way to disconnect. Just a rubber boot that pulls back and shows the stuff feeding into the trans.
