Went to tile shit with my father Saturday which turned into ripping up rotted subfloor, then putting a new joist under a wall, adding two more joists and crossbracing, new insulation, new subfloor, new front door, replacing rotted sill, sistering some double joists, blah blah blah. Maybe start tiling tomorrow night.

Man that snowballed :laugh:

That's what happened when I went to 're-carpet' my second-floor landing. There was a corner that smelled like cat piss, which turned out that the cat piss had gone far further into the subfloor than I'd ever think. Then the existing joists were a nightmare and I had to sister everything to build a new subfloor on top of the old shit. Capped off with 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood.

idk how i feel about those seats. they seem to just hold the water in them, but last time i was in a set they were pretty old so what do i know.

As usual I did zero research before buying them, except checking the price of a new set, so I hope they don't suck. As long as they keep the seats from getting filthy I'll be happy, I'm paranoid that my ass is dirty every time I get in the damn thing.
