quote of the day thread..

Got done planting last night about 10:30 and could not see shit. My FIL showed up and could see plenty of crooked rows, this was his response:

"This looks like the work of Helen Keller and will need the help of Oral Roberts come harvest"

My planter tractor blew the motor a few weeks ago, so I am in a borrowed tractor. I put my GPS mapping unit in it, but no auto steer. It is like going from a pimped out Cadillac to a base model 76 Pinto. Camille brought me a beer last night and it was impossible to try to drink it and jockey all the levers and screens.......

Cheese "like the old days" Man

Auto steer is for ******s.
:poke:

Jed does a good job but if I tried planting it would look like a drunk did it on a month long bender.

1980 something 186 hydro and a 6 row 950.

Hired hand for some bto ran a brand new green field cultivator into an overpass at road speed a couple days ago...

All my farmer friends around here love the auto steer. One farmer just went in with four others and bought/built a tower to share for the autosteer GPS. Cheaper than rental equipment that they were using.

Is that a 6.9?
-yes, with an ATS kit.
So you did put a turbo on it. Nice! Those are pretty nice old trucks. I heard they run pretty good with a turbo.

Me and the DNR guy at the campground. Talked about my truck for like 10 mins.
