so someone stole my jack this morning, but failed to see the video cameras out front.

True. I sometimes think Volvo station wagons look like lowered Cherokee's. Also, I think my DMV paper work refers to the body style as station wagon, hehe.
I've always wanted to buy a 90's Volvo wagon for that exact reason. :D

all suv's and passenger vans are considered station wagons. which is good, truck registration is more expensive in most states. station wagons carry passenger car plates.

I always try to get parts cheaper at the JY by saying its a station wagon. For interior stuff it works, not so much for any steel parts though.

It does.

The DMV caught up with the SUV thing later on though, my '96 XJ is not titled as SW.

Interesting, perhaps it was a DMV clerk in 1996 that titled it wrong.

Just try having a ham/amateur radio plate. They have no idea what the heck that is. Most of the time they think it's a vanity license plate. It's not a vanity plate. I usually have to explain they need to search their ham plate database, and not the vanity plate database. Then I have to explain what ham radio is. Same with CHP. Can't count how many times the CHP says they searched their computer and my plates don't exist. Last time I was in the DMV they thought the vehicle I was trying to register was a boat. :confused1

made a few of those this morning...
Ewwwwww....

"I was happy that it was daylight, so we could get them on video," he said." Good of the NC Times to let folks know it's smarter to rip you off at night...
