im gonna give it 9 lives.

it dies every time the unibody fails pretty badly

so far i have used 2 of its 9 lives.

first time was when my frame between the trackbar and steering box cracked to the point where i could only steer in one direction- straight.

second time was a and b pillar failure.

really debating getting the s&w cage and just splooging it in there.

the t&j cage is better. theres a two door cherokee prebent cage sitting in kenny's yard. idk if the kid who bought it still plans on using it. i think he paid $275 from trevor who bought it from bob. its hrew tho.

Rob, that looks like a pretty nice truck. If I had found that I'd likely be driving that instead. I'm not a huge fan of the color, but if you can get them down a few grand I think that'd be a good deal, especially considering the mileage it's got...

l like the color, ideally id like a red or black truck and do a SRT hood grill and bumper, but that shit wont ever happen, ill see what i can save in the next 2 weeks and maybee do a trip and hope for the best, it be nice if my siblings would help with bills and rent, so want to move the XXXX outta here

on the plus side im looking at a promotoin and raise for the fall semester

Speaking of girls...the one that I mentioned in this post is hanging around again.

She randomly dropped by the shop a week or so ago and we ended up having a great, long conversation. Cool, I can dig that. Then I run into her at the local bar two nights later, we talk some more. Then it turns shitty.

Every time she gets drunk and/or high she turns into a broken record of whining about how she's in love with this other dude, who's also one of my friends, and he's always so mean to her, and how she's so self-concious about how she looks but at the same time she knows she has a great body but it won't last forever so she really wants to settle down with someone and she loves children but isn't sure if she wants to have any because what if they come from the shallow end of the gene pool if you know what i mean and oh look at that girl that dress makes her body look horrible i mean i know i have a nice body so i shouldn't be judgemental but did she even look in a mirror before she left the house and i'm smart i really am i have a degree in math but guys always think i'm dumb because all i do is babysit and work at a tennis club and i

It'd be one thing if it was a one-time, let-it-all-out whining session, but it's e v e r y f u c k i n g t i m e she has a few drinks. Now I remember why I didn't go out of my way to hang out with her again. I ended up driving her home that night because she was came running up to my truck as I was leaving and "missed her taxi" because she's hammered. We get to her house and she asks it it'd be too forward if she asked for my number...I said no offense, but you have it already, I gave it to you last time I drove you home. :laugh:

Nice girl, but there are some things I just don't have patience for, and if you can't go out and have a few drinks without turning into an emotional broken record, then either don't drink or find someone else to listen to you the next time around. And even when she's not drinking...ya know that stuff is all just sitting right below the surface anyway.

This happened again last night, with the same exact conclusion, except I made out with her for a little bit.

Then I'm driving home, and she calls me and asks if I know where her purse is. I pull over and look quickly, say no, it's not in my truck, sorry.

Five minutes later I get a call and she asks if I know where her purse is. I just got home, so I get out and look more thoroughly, still don't see it, sorry.

This morning I get a text and she asks if I know where her purse is.

Jesus XXXX.

Yeah, sucks how that works sometimes. Maybe it'd be worth checking out and seeing how you'd get financed with a smaller down payment if the truck's worth it? Then just pay higher on the payments whenever you can... not saying that's defnitely what you should do, but it does look like a good truck so might not be a terrible idea to look into it more thats all.

So my Dodge goes through tires at a rate of 2:1, front to rear. With good XRF balljoints, new unit bearings, alignment etc, the inside of the front tires just goes to shit. Axle housing might be bent for all I know.

Just noticed that I finally have some cords showing on the front so I guess it's time to get new ones. Rears are at just about 50%. :laugh:
