Hi Lift mounting question

i just picked up a 60" hilift. can i drill 2 or 3 holes in the front factory bumper and devise a mounting bracket to hold it horizontally? will the bumper hold the weight? my guess is yes since it is only 30 pounds. just wanna check with the pros first.

It'll be fine if you want the jack to be out in the elements and to be the first thing you run into mud, sand, rocks, or whatever you bump into.

i agree.

try the hood, up by the cowl. front bumper would look good though, just not really practical.

the hood would not work for me. i would have to have someone help me get the thing on and off. i'm short and weak. i figured i would make some kind of cover for it and it would only be on there if im going somewhere i might need it.

be careful with mounting on the hood (make sure its secure). could become a projectile in a crash. seen it before as a fire/rescue member
