So I have a 1990 jeep cherokee, 4.0, aw4, np231, dana 30 and 35. So this weekend I got new U joints in my rear driveshaft. The old ones had some play in them so I thought that was it. But I was wrong. So this is what happens. When I get up anywhere between 35mph and up I get a bad shimmy coming from the rear end of the vehicle, it even seems to loss power for a second. As I ease off the gas it goes away. And it doesn't do this all the time. Sometimes I can be going around town doing 50 all day and not have it happen once. So guys any ideas for me too look next? I did just chanced the diff fluid not to long ago in the 35 and everything seemed good no metal shavings or anything. Fluid was really dirty, looks like it hadn't been changed for a long time. This happened before I changed it too. Thank you for your time.
