what do you think?, all i need to do now is buy the led s, and make the holes.

Wanna make some for my MJ?
 
I made them out of 1/8 in steel, its really hard to bend i use to work at a sign shop so im use to it. basically i just took my light off and copied it, laying the steel over the light and taking my time on the bending, its a lot harder if you bend too much and try to bend it back. you have to keep checking it everywhere to make sure its all lining up, weld up all the seams and grind smooth, i welded the inside too.
 
Jesse, the dimensions on the MJ are - top-to-bottom 10 3/4" and side-to-side 9 3/16". I could come up to Simi some time.

you start making MJ lights like that and you could probably start to fund the jeep hobby pretty well. I know I would buy a set, there is little to no aftermarket support for MJ lights and once you bust one it take quite a bit of searching to find a good quality replacement lense. So yea, if you decide to start making them hit me with a PM
 
those are going to be tough because there is not a good mounting point to make tabs off the otter edge but i think that i could figure something out if i had them in front of me.

Shoot, I'm interested in a set for my 96. I've been looking for some taillight boxes to put in mine and no one seems to make em anymore. That is an awesome job you did, looks completely professional! I can bring mine up if you need to make a template...you can be my taillight sponsor. :D

i likey. Any progress on this in that past few months? holes drilled for LED's yet?
