If your wondering???? we have plenty of recovery gear... Not that we ever use it , Well sometimes.

The XJ is ready to run, but the tow rig rusted through its brake line (again!)

I'll try to get it done over christmas, but it's likely to be a hectic week...

(And of course, the big pig won't fit in the garage...)

Remember, I drive twice as far as you guys!

And if I did tear it up, I'd not only have to figure out how to get it home, I'd have to figure out how to get to work the next day.

I'd probably have to borrow the girlfriend's Exploder, and I'd NEVER hear the end of that!

Well, the brakes are done. So unless we're "working for the weekend," I should be good to go.

My brother-in-law Matt is up for it, and I'm gonna try to get ahold of Tim and see if he ever got Nick's axle bolted under his 'manche.

Well, the good news is I'm off all weekend. I'm goin' wheelin'!

The bad news is, with no OT all month, I'm probably gonna have to sell a kidney for gas and diesel money.

Feeling your pain brother... My furnace went out last night looking like a 500.00 bill.

Thats just what I needed, Heck! Ya got me thinking!! I got two myself..

Whats the plan for saturday?? Biggs say around 8:00 or 8:30 am??

9:00 am works for me... Maybe Tim will jump in yet. Tom and the rest will meet us at Haspin at 10:00 am.

At this time looks like the group is five jeeps; Tom, Jen , Jerry, Me ,and You.

:doh: DOH! I'm a dumbass!

I hooked the trailer to the tow rig this morning, but forgot to put the linchpin in the coupling. :dunce:

So of course tonight, when I went to load the XJ, the tongue popped loose, jumped forward, and punched a hole right through the tailgate. :banghead:

I guess the only good news is that I was just thinking about getting the whole rig painted once it's paid off this spring.

So all I'll need is a secondhand tailgate, and after a bit of hunting on ebay, it looks like it was "only" a $250 fuggup...

Sucks to be stupid...

Dude that sucks!!! Well it could always be worse... 250 not bad .

The furnace guy just finished up . I got lucky for once total cost 175.00..

Yep Jen's four door XJ debut.... Mostly stock but on 33's to start ... She's shopping for all the goodies won't be long.
