On the 87 i just got i see i have the hole in the dash and the 3 pin connector is still there on the harness but the whole switch is just missing.

I read that on later years the transmission was just set to the power setting and switch was omitted but as i have it i was thinking does anyone know what the connections should be?

I'm guessing with the 3 polls on whats left of the connector its an earth or common and then the power/comfort section. does someone know what wires relate to each setting?

if i was to delete this all together what 2 would i connect just for power?

Thanks
Dave

You can usually find them on eBay. There are books for the engine/body, electrical/HVAC, and another for maintenance stuff.

Here is a pinout of the TCU. From what I can tell the switch just sends power to pin 11 when Power is selected
