Do you mean the little square white plastic things?
I found some at team cherokee several years ago,but they didnt fit well.
Went to a local body shop/paint,parts house, they had many different types by the hand full.
Had to watch a video to see what you are talking about. Never removed a header before. They look like license plate ones. Your local Napa should have a loose leaf binder with all sorts of clips and whatnot. I am not talking pictures but the actual piece. Makes matching things up really easy. Part number for my '00 is 6035 657. Described as NUT, Plastic Snap-In, For .164-15 Screw. They appear to be available here:
But 99 cents apiece? WOW. At the link is says required quantity 4. But the guy in the video is holding a whole bunch. If you only need 4 I guess it could be worse but I would try Napa first.
The license plate squares are different than the snap-in ones in the header. I bring the header snap-ins and door trim panel Christmas trees home by the pocketful from the junkyard.
But they do not appear to have the clip that retains the door pulls. I have yet to find a source for those. (The one that holds the upper part of the armrest, requires a quarter turn on the armrest assembly and then it releases.)
Found under Group 007 (Cooling) -> Figure 007-710 (Grille and Related Parts) in the factory parts manual. Idiotic place for it, I know - took me an eternity to find it last time.
Apparently we can't edit posts anymore... But to clarify, the above clips are for the header panel. They'll sit loose until you put a screw in them, at which point they'll expand and hold nicely.
