OEM Tow Hook bracket ID; did I forget something?

I just pulled brackets from an XJ at a JY. This is what I pulled:



Do I need this angle bracket too or is it part of a typical bumper bracket? The piece at the center of the pic with 4 bolts.



It's a pre 97 setup and the only thing I have to compare to is my MJ and it came from the factory with hooks. I can't go look at my sons rig without spoiling the surprise.

Yes you need the L bracket.

Thanks. Back I go! As it is I left all the bolts sitting on the counter when I was there last time. At least there's an Ace nearby.

Woo-hoo! They were still there.

Don't forget you also need the bracket that goes on the bottom, has three bolts two large for the tow hooks and one small for the unibody. The bottom brackets help to disperse load into the unibody and prevent the hooks from bending inward.
