Power Control Module. Controls spark, fuel injectors and a whole lot more. It is the electronics unit under the hood. (not the fuse box)

Is it the box with all the wires plugged into it on the drivers side?

In my model do these things have to be reprogramed or anything of that nature, or can I just buy a new one and stick it in?

Yours can just be plugged in as long as it is a compatable model year and engine.
