I am putting in bed liner in the XJ (96) and wanted to know for those of you that have done this already the black plastic piece under the carpet up front under the dash did you rip that out put it back inleft it out or what??? Thanks in advance

i cut mine back like 3-4 inches and left the rest up high to keep alittle heat out.but make sure you rhino line under it all the way

i tore mine completly out. i needed most heat in my rig cause i chopped the top
