"bigger" coil for XJ

Does anyone know if Accel or MSD make a coil for a 1988 4.0?

if so, do you have a link? The Jeggs site doesn't list one.

Check JC Whitney. They list an Accel coil for Jeep Wranglers, 91 and newer. This is the 4.0 engine so it would probably work on XJ's. Call 'em and ask.

OTOH, don't know why you would want a high performance coil on a 4.0. The factory (Mopar) coil should be more than up to the task. This is not a high-compression, high-RPM engine so anything over stock Mopar will be money down the drain.
