anyone?

whats the norm?

my bad guys

i should have been more specific

i am wiring 4 PIAA 100W lights for the front of the roof rack

2 100W Harbor freight lights for the front bumper

2 55W Harbor freight lights for the rear of the roof rack

I have some 18 gauge wire, was told its not big enough

I am building a Fitch relay box, so i need wire from the box to the lights, and to ground

i know its a simple common sense question, some please chime in

Google wire size. http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm Your lights are 100w, so that takes 100/12=8.33 AMPS (volts x amps = watts) (IIRC). So for steady power transmission, you need 12 gage wire. Hey, I am far from an electrical engineer. Some experts chime in and tell us the difference between chassis wiring and power transmission. I'd err on the conservative side myself.
