Tie Rod End Change

Well, today must be my lucky day. My 88 has developed a slight shake at 50-55 announcing the beginning of DW. I found a very loose TRE on the pass side. I was able to back the castle nut off the the end of the stud, wedge a long wrench between the tie rod and drag link to use as a lever, and a BFH. After a few well placed whacks, it popped. Loosened the clamp and it spun right out.

Now all I have to do is wait for the part to come in and slam-bam it back together. Yes, I measured and counted turns. ;)
