I searched threw prior posts and had issues with my questions. I have a 6inch lift in my xj, plus I have a mint 8.8 to through in. The 8.8 was set for a 3inch lift on the previous xj and I am stumped on how to eliminate vibe issues and have it run properly.

I was told I need a sye and 4degree shim. What other options are there and do I need a sye and a new drive shaft? Plus there is already a tcase drop. Could I eliminate that?

Thanks

Marcus

YOU need to measure the pinion angle of your driveshaft and make the determination of any angle you need. Blind guesses of "get a 4* shim" aren't necessarily going to work in similar applications.

Lose the tcase drop, add the SYE, and shim the rear axle so that the pinion points 1-2* below the driveshaft.
