np 231 rebuild

does anyone have directions for rebuilding a np 231 anything will help even like a sye install im haveing trouble getting the half cases apart if it helps its out of a 95 sport auto (AW4) thanks

If i remember correctly when i opened mine there should be a tail section where the driveshaft slips in (slip yoke )- that needs to come off first by removing its bolts. The next section is also connected by bolts, but additionally the shaft has a snap clip retainer that has to be removed using some needle nose pliers. After that you proceed by removing the remaining case bolts.
