patching buttens

i want to line the bed of my mj and right now it has the buttons for a snap on tonneau, and so technally there ar a bunch of small holes along my bed, my question in if i did the diy roll on liner would it close up the holes and make it look like they were never there, if not what would be the best way to seal up the holes to line it

Fill em with a welder. or silicone then paint right over. Tape works too but i dont suggest it due to ?able longevity.

Oh yea if you do the silicone dont forget to shave the silicone flat with a razor blade.
