post up so we can set a time for the run, early day, late day into the night run. no excuses this time, woody, motorman (with the toyota), gr8tires, Ghost, XJoeB, jeeping31, Georgia Mike, and any other XJers in the aera.

Me too woody maybe southeast NAXJA can do something. Do you know any of the Rangers? Maybe get us in touch and get them to tell us what they need done.

i want to help with the trail day but some XJers from the meet and greet want to go to uwharrie for the first time that day. so i'm checking to see if we will be in the way or not. let y'all know one way or other. looks like i'll be there and help with the clean up. and maybe change the run to another day.

Hey I'm ready for a Uwharrie run. I missed the last one and everyone I know here on the coast is pulling out for labor day and headed to Monteagle, TN. If no one is interested in Labor Day weekend, then I'm ready for a Uwjarrie run later in the month and get a chance to catch up with you guys, finally. I heard my bud beat the snot out of my XJ a couple of weekends ago. Sorry I missed it!

keep us posted about 9/20. As far as a good time for us, put us down for earlier in the day. I'm thinking I'd like to spend as much time out there , since it's our first time running that.

Sounds good to me. It actually works out to a free day on the trails, which is cool. Let me know if its a definate. Staying at Arrowhead?

9am at hunt camp for clean up and trail repair. let me know if anybody is going to be there and if you need to meet up for help getting to uwharrie.

If coming from 24/27 N on 109, take the 1st paved left up the hill past the new Uwh river bridge. (there are signs) The hunt camp is on the right, at the turn into the NF. Last Beer is in Biscoe or Troy.

The Eldorado Outpost is pretty much midway between the two roads into Uwharrie. maybe 2 miles past the bridge. Gas & snacks +.

From the arrowhead CG...left out of the CG, R at the T, left at the next T, follow to last T, Hunt camp is on the L

still on cleanup/repair in the am trail ride in the pm, Woody upsidedown and burning in a mudpuddle around 7pm.

AFAIK we are still on for this Saturday (9-20) yes?

If it is a bad mess here in central NC, we may have to bail on it, but let's assume it's a 'GO'

9AM at the Uwharrie Hunt Camp, I'll bring some trashbags and my trusty lil' chainsaw.

i'm there no matter what. i think 3 other XJs from the meet & greet will be there around 1pm, but i'll be there at 9am sat.

Mark & I helped some other off-roaders & the forest service put up some split-rail fencing (closing off some ATV bypass trails) on Dicky Bell trail. After several hours of work, we rode a couple trails and called it a day.

There is a bunch of fencing left to put up, and I plan to be back out there in the AM to help. Anyone else is more than welcome to join us. 9 AM at the hunt camp, or just head on out to Dickey Bell, go past the double parking area on 553 and take a left on Green Gap Rd, cross the creek and take a left onto the trail...we'll be approx 3/4 mile into the woods. All ya need is some work gloves (plus snacks & drinks) and maybe some bug spray & sunscreen.

Hope to see some more folks out there :)

I was the 4th warm body to get up there today, rounding out the first crew. Shortly thereafter a couple more groups showed up and we had the rest of the fence up lickety split. My contribution for the weekend was whacking a lot of nails.
