what to do about DD

i have a question and need some opinions,
i just installed a 44 in the back of my xj and want to put a locker in it,
iam 17 and its my daily driver. i have a brand new spool sitting in my garage. i wanted to know if i should wait and get a detroit or run the spool?????

any opinions would be cool

if it's a daily driver a spool isn't road friendly. fine for an off road mostly rig but will wear down your tires and put unneeded stress on your rig if it mostly sees pavement.

A Detroit is a full carrier, so you will have to get the gears set up again.

Look into a lunchbox locker. Much cheaper and they dont require gears to be set up after install.
