Front Shackle

i'm trying to get an extra inch/1.5 on my 99 an was wondering if anyone had ever tried putting shackle on the front end of the spring? good/bad idea or does anyone have a better one? i'm going to use an old acos i have lying arround for the front.

99 - 7.5springs front - 4.5spring + 1 shackle + 2 block = back

Build a lower mount. Check the gojeep site for write up on this.

If your already at 7.5", why would you want to go higher? What tires you running?

To do it right, you will need to either build new mount(s), or get a custom pack. Either way, IMO you should really worry more about getting rid of the 2" blocks than going higher!
