What in the world is wrong with my door? All of a sudden it wont open. How can I get this thing open to see whats wrong. I tried to pull the skin off and I really cant see anything back in there besides I dont know what I am really looking for. Its an 88 xj passenger front

You'll have to remove the armrest and the black p late surrounding the opening handle to remove the cover.......then you can fish around in there and try to tug on something to open the door.

Yeah I have kicked the piss out of it, didnt work, but it did make me feel a hell of alot better.

will it open from the outside? happened to me. i painstakingly pulled the latch system thing.

a little peice of metal had bent, i bent it back and its been great since

I had my door stick shut and I eventually found that removing the seat made life much easier for gaining access to the door interior.
