hey everybody

well ive been pretty busy the last couple weeks working on the jeep. finally herculined the rockers, and interior, got 35X12.50 kumhos, got it waxed and compounded yesterday, bought new shockmounts, which sit flush with the axle, new hub (mud+160,000 miles finally ate my front left hub), aussie locker for the front, and a safari snorkle

the locker, and snorkle, and shockmounts aren't on yet, but they will be within the next week or 2. i also bumpstoped, which is shown in 1 pic, and the herculiner looks really old/bad, but i went wheeling 2 days ago, so its still dirty. it cleans up good as new though

looks great!

i think i may paint my rockers like that..
what did you do just tape a straight edge?

i may as well do this cause those stupid moldings keep falling off.

Looks almost exactly like mine
About two or three more weeks of wrenching and it'll look like mine too.

yep..whoever designed the rear shockmounts for the cherokee didn't forsee anybody ever wheeling them. the rear shockmounts hung down about as far as the bottom of the differential. i cut off the old mounts today, and can already tell theres going to be a big difference. now when i weld the new ones on, the axle housing will hit things before the shock mount does..i like em, and they were cheap also

Where did you get those shock tabs from?
