opinions-Skyjacker Platinum Shocks-good?

Have been trying to decide on shocks for my XJ project, and Bilstein 7100's are my favorites so far, with or without reservoirs. Rebuildable which is cool.

The new Platinum shock of Skyjacker look very stout, does anyone have any comments on them? www.biggas.com

There's nothing wrong with skyjacker stuff, true they might be a TAD on the pricey side but still good stuff.

I REALLY doubt that skyjacker had a hand in the manufacturing of the shocks so even if the company made crap the shocks could still be decent. I would like to have a ride in a rig with them, on paper they look great!!

I agree, they have 2" bore, and 7/8" rods, look potentially good. Priced at about $89 for non-res styles, which is great for a shock this large.

But I gotta know from someone that's used them.
