Best bet for purchasing steel?

I live in the Ohio Valley, the "Steel Valley".
I can't even find HREW tube or DOM?
In fact these hilljacks at the steel places (more than one)
have NEVER even heard of HREW or DOM!
Can you believe this? How can this be?

that is quite hard to believe, my local steel yard doesn't stock large quantities of dom but will order it for me, takes 2-days to arrive usually. May want to check into a local fab shop and see where they are getting theirs. Most of my DOM comes all the way from India, don't really know where one could find good ole US steel DOM.

Maybe they call it something else? I've called around price shopping for larger orders and get some that don't recognize industry standard names like HREW or DOM. "Seamless" they recognized for DOM.

A couple more good ones I know are Totten Tube, Industrial Metal Supply, and there are dozens more on the West coast, but they all have warehouses around U.S.

I order from online metals when its something I can't get in the regular truck deliveries from work
