My new (to me) cherokee is in need of some new exhaust badly. The cat will be removed (mainly trail use only) and I would like to run the new exhaust to slightly behind the crossmember or before the axle and then put in a turn-down piece of exhaust tubing. My question is which muffler should I use? I would like to keep good backpressure but would also like to use a muffler that won't get ripped off every weekend. What are my options?
