ok so i have a jeep with a dropped rod in the chevy 2.8, was wondering how hard it would be to mate up the 3.9L v6 from a dakota to the auto tranny?

yea but if i do that then i have to get another engine. I already have the dakota one.

Sure. advanceadapters.com will show you how ungodly expensive that will be. Not to mention that you can kiss your entire drivetrain goodbye. If you don't swap it out now, you'll be swapping it out later when the torque of that 350 blows it all to smitherings.
The 3.4L block will bolt right up and use all of your existing accessories. car-part.com might be able to help out in your search.
Remember, just because the upfront cost may be less, doesn't necessarily mean it will be cheaper when you're all said and done.
