I don't know if this should in the oem or modified, the jeep's modified so here it is. I just picked up a hard clunking noise in the steering. I have a custom crossover using heims. The heims make it hard to isolate where the clunk is coming from. I jacked it up and it doesn't make a noise, with the tires on the ground it does, and when it does the pitman arm is always in the same place. Do I need a new steering box ( it has the factory box)? I would like to here no, that I can adjust it, but yes might give me an excuse to call agr;) Thanks all

Mine does this also. I thought it was the track bar but I replaced it and it was still there. After I did my lift I had the front end aligned and the man said it was in the steering box. So that is my next area of attack.
