Cage fabrication

I've been wanting to start building a cage for my xj but not sure how to design it. I keep hearing that its all about triangulation but not sure how to use this statement and apply it when making my design. Some time back I read in a thread about a book that was supposed to be the bibble on chassis fabrication, can anyone tell me what this book is called, or who it's by, and where to find it. Thanks in advance.
