Im trying to install my RE adjustable track-bar right now. How in the heck am I supposed to hold the nut on top (heim joint side) from spinning as Im tightning it? Its a 5/16 (I think..I have my tools down in the garage) but nothing will fit inside the mouting braket. How did you guys install it? Help needed ASAP please.

I took the bracket off of the frame to remove the old track bar. It made it easier to drill the hole clamped in the vise also.

IIRC, i used a 15/16" deep socket, a breaker bar, and a buddy to keep that nut in place.

I cant get the wreanch in there because the RE trac-bar comes with a biger nut/bolt.
cbremer, what did you use to keep it from spinnuing?(what type of tool was your buddy holding basicly)

my buddy was holding the nut with the breaker bar/deep socket, and I tightened the bolt using a 1/2" drive torque wrench

I used an eight inch crescent wrench. It gets on the nut well enough to tighten without messing it up.
