View Full Version : Need help from those with Tomken 4" springs!

I need a measuremnt from either the axle tube or the spring perch to a vertical point upwards from that to give me an idea of how much have you netted with them. If you had them for a year or more it's even better...

Mine held at 4" lift for 4 years, then sagged to 3.5". I added a stock XJ main leaf(bushing eyes cut off), it's back to 4" and has been holding there for the past 3 yrs.

where did you measure the 4" at?

I measure from the top of the axle tube to the underside of the frame rail. I think the stock dimension is 6"(?). I used to check it once in a while mostly out of curiosity and to see how the springs were holding up. My rig is now sitting at 5.5"-6", so I can't give you an accurate update on the 4" setup.
