8.25 and selectable locker??

I am interested in hearing about availability of a selectable locker for by 99XJ Chry. 8.25. I know there is ARB, others? Any experiences and recommendations?

i've looked just about everywhere for this, arb is the only selectable for the 8.25, and it's only for the late style(more splines) axle, from 97 i think up. for someone who has the older style, the new axle shafts & "punkin innards" will work in the old housing.

Not that I think you -should- lock a 27 spline 8.25, but this arb claims to be for it:

I ran a locker on 27 spline with 35's BFG mt and never broke ..but I did have spare axles just in case

howwly crap i could not find this a year ago! oh well, i still like my 8.8 better.

I run my 8.25 welded with 33s and no problems. They're a strong axle for sure.

I'll bet that site is making a mistake. The ARB #RD93 is for the 29 spline 8.25 (I have the installation guide sitting in front of me). Call ARB and ask and I'll bet they will confirm that they don't make one for the 27 spline axle.

Page 3 of ARB's current catalog says there's one for the 27 apline 8.25 (not that I would recommend it either).
