my old man is looking into a 2 post lift. he wants to anchor it to a roller base so he can move it around the shop. i was looking on ebaymotors and found a lot of stuff like this:

what do y'all think? warranty looks pretty good. less than 1500 bucks for a 7000 lb. lift!!! too cheap to be good?

the old man at my shop gets all sorts of crap lifts like that and seem to work out A Ok

But in the Ebay Ad it says $1450 plus installation
Maybe thats the catch?

i think installation is optional. it says that you have to have the tow motor to take it off the truck yourself. do those lifts use pretty much the same/standard type pumps/mechanisms or what?(like no crap special parts that are made for that alone and have no replacements if you know what i mean)
