Hi everybody!

Just wanted to announce that I will make it over again this year. And I´m bringing my wife and daughter.
Looking forward seeing you fellas again- - and meet new people.

Oh, and of course I have a little logistics problem:

Can anybody of the Midwest or Front Range people give me (only me, family arrives later) a lift from Denver to Moab? On Oct 2nd or 3rd? I will rent a Jeep locally.

I should have added that we were in Moab last week and saw that Farabee's was now renting TJs with 35" tires. The fellow that had it said that they cut him a good deal (less than the usual price) so you might want to negotiate with them. I thought that I was going to have to rent from them again but got the two XJ trailer built in time. Let me know if you need a ride by the 4th. Danno

Just be standing by the bus stop and bring your $.55 for the fare.

Sorry Dan, should I consult you first before picking up passengers? Or will you trust my judgment?

No problem, we may need someone to set behind the wheel by then anyhow, and I was going to offer w/o even knowing who he is, if you own a jeep, you can't be that bad. But then again, look at BJ.

Very precise geographic preferences. Should I be hurt?

Just because I left you momentarily stranded last time since I had to bail out after six hours on the road???? Even as my XJ's life-blood oil was staining the Ohio Tpke - I was on the phone making sure that someone out in CO could take care of you!!!!

2001 seemed good enough for you.

:D

Actually, couldn't help you out this time anyway, since I'll already have been at Slickrock CG (God willing! ) by the previous Monday.

I'll apologize in person when I see you out there. What flavor do you want? ;)

So that means we can't pick-up any bikini clad blond hitchhikers.

Bikini's are good, just as long as their not fat!! And don't forget that Steph and Ang may have something to say about that.

I though we where going to tucker them out with the twister game in the back of the bus so they'll sleep for the rest of the trip.

Fore Wheeler

Oh yea, the naked twister game while you're driving. I forgot.

Now with this post, the bus stops all along the way will be filled with guys flagin us down!!

You'll have to get a couple of new bumper stickers that say "This bus only stops for bikini clad blonds" and one that says "No Fat Chicks"

Hagen will have to be the exception to the rule.

the two guys from "Dumb and Dumber" in the last scene where the Tropicana sunscreen bus stops and all these HOT :D bikini girls get out of the bus and ask these two dufouses to ride along with them and apply the sunscreen. They turned them down as they were going the "other way".

Its definite now.

I rented a Moabified TJ for the week from
4th to 11th of October.

But I still would not mind to be in Moab a few days earlier, if transportation allows.

So again: anybody going earlier, like, 2nd or 3rd?
And coming through Denver?
To pick me up?
I will be living only 5 minutes from I-70?

Enuff begging.

Looking forward to a ton of fun.

And Goat and X and the other organizers: You need help-count on me.

If this group was really friendly they would let Hagen borrow the Raffle vehicle for the week.
Hey Hagen are you going to bring the Wife and Kid to Moab? Is your wife tired of wondering when you will be back in Denver so she wants to keep an eye on you? Ha Ha.
Should be a good time. See you there.

Well, thats a great idea.........

And yes, my girls will be coming. But to tell you the truth: I´d rather not have them keep an eye on my antics too closely.

It is going to be great!

Ahem, Jeff.

The "Rental" was Mil´s idea, but the longer I think about it....

....then again, we both have seen unexpected things happen....

I don´t really want to be in charge of banging up a perfectly good Grand Prize. Or maybe?

Anyway, as they say in German, we´re talking about unlaid eggs here.

And Jeff, if you are really going into show ´n shine, I will help you with the stain remover.
