I am not positive, but I would put a light coating all around with your finger, then just pump them full afterwards. I doubt it's really neccessary, just so you know you have a little bit all over when you start using them.

duh, I didn't notice the greese zerk in there, I was thinking they might have a lube impregnated in the races.
