how many of you guys have an 8.8 in your rig and how easy of a swap is it ?

It's not that difficult...

A little cutting, grinding, a bit of welding and you're good to go..

i have one, with m.o.r.e.'s kit made it go in nice

It's a pretty straightforward swap. You can buy spring perches, shock mounts (or make them) and u bolts individually and save a ton of money rather than buy the MORE kit. I cut the shock mounts of my 8.25 and reused them. I reused the spring plates, but am going to make new ones to work with my bump stops. There's a lot of great write-ups out there. Once I had the parts, it was a one day job.
