So on my 96 Sport 6cyl. I've always had a problem with the rear cylinder fouling consideribly more than the rest. At about 18K JEEP replaced the
O.E. motor, piston slap. While the motor does rattle alittle I hope it's not bad again.(100K on the new motor) Could/should I run a "hotter" plug ? Can I ? Should I try the "fix in a can" additive ? i.e. Restore or the likes, just let it go?
Any thoughts?
Thanks !!

Dose it smoke on start-up ? It may be a valve seal on only that cylinder that is leaking oil.
While not as cheap a fix, replacement of the seals will stop the problem.
