Did a search on the www.chryslerpartsdirect.com site and came up with the above. Is the 231 the Rubi case?

Am I crazy or does that seem like a cheap TC with 4:1??

I'm pretty sure the Rubicon case is designated the 241 Rocktrac or something like that. that one you found is a plain jane 231 out a TJ. Nice thought, though.

Nope, the 231 you have listed is a regular TJ case. The Rubie case is a 241J or 241OR. It can be listed either way.
ALOT of folks would jump at that price if that was a Rubie case! :wave:
