if i was to get a transfer case drop for my jeep, its not lifted im just curious, would it then make the transfer case lever and shifter be one inch shorter when you are sitting in the jeep. And also my friend has a wrangler and i was wondering if the same thing would happen if he was to get a body lift, would the shifter move with the transmiision and transfer case lever and be 3 inches shorter. Thanks

It does not change on the XJ as the linkage pivot point for the lever is on the body so does not move with the drivetrain dropping down.
I think it is the same with a TJ too unless you fit a kit which lowers this point down as well.
