D44 Q

I'm looking at a D44 rear originally out of a wagoneer, the man had it in his Yj so it is set up for leafs. he specified that it had a centered housing and it was complete drum to drum with 58" wms. anyone have any idea if this would bolt into my cherokee i think it should and i would need spacers to step it out to factory width? if so any idea what size spacers? thank y'all in advance.

no, the distance between the spring perches are different on YJ's and XJ's it won't bolt in.

if you have access to a welder you can make it fit, but I don't think it will swap righot over... I'm doing the same on my XJ, except I'm getting my D44 out of a scout

Well if the spring perches are in there original place it will just bolt the XJ and the GW have the same perch width. but they most likely have been move for the YJ. But that is no big deal to put new mounts on.
