lock right in 8.8

i have a lock right ready to go into my 8.8 but i am a little confused about how it is supposed to go in i have installed an aussie before wich is the same thing. here is the scoop it is a ford 8.8 31 spline 7/8 X shaft Limited slip. soo do i keep the clutches in there or do i take them out when i take them out there is nothing for the spline side of the locker to seat into when theyre in it looks right but it just seems wierd to have a locker with a limited slip.

If I remeber right, you cannot install a lockright in a limeted slip case, it MUST be an open case. So you would need to purchase a full locker OR purchase an open case. Make sure (If you get a new case from the bone yard/etc..) you get one that will fi whatever ratio gears you have.

Man, if you have to get a new carrier anyway, just get a full case locker and ditch lockright.
