Hood mounted KC's?

I like the look of the KC's mounted to the hood or side view mirrors but i dont know how to do it right. Ive seen it before, and before i fabricate a mount that goes in (the hood or side view mirrors?) i would like to know if theres any brackets or mounts that i can buy?

You could mount them off a rack like this.

I don't have lights yet, but I plan on putting them off my rub rails.

I seem to remember that old forest service Jeeps had hood mounted lights, like police cars, so you might find them used. Someone might make them aftermarket too.

I hope you do not plan on using lights mounted higher than your head lights in fog or snow. They will be worse than just headlights.

I do want them above the hood just for off road lights, my foglights are on my bumper. I just wanted tehm on the hood because i like the look and i cant use a lightbar because i usually carry a canoe or kayaks on the roof.
