TC question for the manual trans folks

Anyone running an NP242 behind either an AX5 or -15? If so, could you give any insight, good/bad/ugly? I'm thinking about one behind my AX5 in my MJ just for running as a DD once again, but am curious how the case responds to the manual when in full-time operation.
Any info is greatly appreciated!

don't know of he'll chime in or not, but a friend of mine is running a 242 behind an ax15 and he loves it.

I expected it to be sloppy because of that center differential, and it's not.

if I were you, I'd do it!

I totally dig it. I haven't noticed any slop from the center "diff" and I was trying to feel it. I love the full time on slippery rainy or snowy roads. I would do it again in a second and recommend it for any daily driver, unless you really think you need that little bit of extra strength that the 231 has.

And if a 242 can stay alive under Ryan's XJ it must be tough!
