Pitman Arm angle

I have 90XJ 6" lift, tried to get it aligned today but the shop refused because they said my pitman arm angle was to steep ( it is a stock setup) is this a shop being to afraid to work on a modified vehichle or do they have a point
your thoughts would be much appreciated

How the fawk do you change the angle of a pitman arm???? :huh: You'd have to take it off cut it and re weld it back together and this would be less than intellegent. Aligning a vehicle with a lift especially 6 inches takes work so I think maybe they just didn't want to mess with it.

Get a new dropdown pitman arm.. You will need I think a 2-3 inch drop.. Look into SkyJacker, Rustys, RE

you should be fine with a 1" drop.. just get ZJ pitman arm.. they are cheap...

where did you take it? a lot of places like midas, won't do anywork on lifted rigs. its bullshit! yeah, you just need a 1" drop.
